J-CAMP Philosophy

J-Camp features a child-centered program focusing on the individual needs of each camper and the collective interests of each camp group. Our goal is to encourage each camper to develop new skills and a greater appreciation of his or her capabilities. We provide a community setting where children develop confidence, build character, and meet new friends.

On behalf of myself, Dylan Ashworth, and the entire JCC Camp Administrative Team, welcome! If you are new to J-Camp, we’d like to welcome you and thank you for choosing the JCC as your summer camp destination. To those who are returning, we are thrilled you are coming back. We’re excited to make new memories with all of our campers this summer!

J-Camp is a special place; something I can attest to as I prepare for my fifteenth summer at the JCC. Our administrative team, with more than 50 years of combined summer camp experience, has been preparing all year in order to make this your child’s best summer ever.

Parents, please reach out at any time with questions, concerns, ideas, or compliments at or 210-302-6969.

I look forward to seeing you this summer!
